With CQuest Administrator you can set a maximum time
limit for the test, up to 999 minutes. The total time of the test,
and the remaining time, is
visible to the students while viewing each question. When the maximum time
is reached the
student is politely forced to end the test.
After taking a test, the student is able to both review
and print the test. Also available from CQuest Administrator.
Click on
thumbnail to view screen. The administrator sets student test review
options from the CQuest Test options menu.
You can allow review, but
disallow printing, disallow all, or allow both.
Select a Test, and a report will be generated showing counts/percentages for each question in the test.
CQuest Echo Version 5.2 has been re-engineered to use the same test engine as CQuest Test. It has all the features of CQuest Test and no longer requires any test conversion. Students who receive CQuest Echo tests will need to run an install program one time only, to install the necessary .dll and other system files. You may distribute the CQuest Echo System Files setup on your own CDs or diskettes. The Echo CD you receive includes the setup as one install file or as diskette images. You may copy and distribute the setups in either manner.
Once system files have been installed, students may take tests immediately from any test files (.cq5) you send. Essentially, they are running the CQuest Test program with Echo modifications. As before, a response file is created for them to return to the test administrator. The administrator then imports the responses into the central student database, in the same manner as version 5.0.
Version 5.2 now allows you to provide exactly the same tests to your Echo students as well as your CQTest students.
CQuest Echo now sells for $1,190 commercial, $952 government.
Current Echo users may upgrade for only a $50 upgrade fee.
This special offer is effective
through June 30, 2000.. After
that time, the upgrade cost will be 25% of
the total cost.
Version 5.0 is no longer supported.
CQuest Web Surveys (only) now include open text answers. C-Quest DB allows you to define the number of lines for the input boxes.
Future Direction of CQuest Web. We are now concentrating on an NT-IIS solution to CQuest Web. We will be implementing a web solution using Access Databases, ASP pages and our own activex controls. Our goal is to make the features and functionality of CQuest Web as close as possible to that of CQuest Test.
The current version of CQuest Web will still be available to Unix servers, but all new features will be added to the NT Server version.
If you are a CQuest DB User, but do not have CQuest Web and would like to implement an occasional test or survey via the web, we can host it for you, using your current CQuest DB data. In other words, you can run CQuest Web on our testpro.com server. For pricing information go to http://testpro.com/CQSurveys. The initial setup fee for CQuest DB customers is one-half of the published price.
CQuest Publisher is for those who want to publish their own tests as a stand-alone package or as a supplement to a book or training program. This is for "one-way testing". Recipients monitor their own results.
Most users are training consultants or authors. A CD containing your tests, which run on the CQTest engine, may be included as part of a training package, a standalone tests, or included with a book.
CQuest Publisher customers may include their own logos and copyright information on the front panel of the CQTest program. Distribution of your media to your customers is unlimited.
Requirements: CD-Writer.
